I love doing handicrafts and art. It's something I do, when I want to calm down, when I need a gift, a new piece of furniture, when screen time is too much or to prevent my nieces and nephew from getting bored. Below you will find a small excerpt from various craft and art projects.
This was a self-made halloween costume. For the armor I found a great tutorial from Zygote Brown Designs. It's made out of cardboard and acrylic paint. The crown is made from aluminum foil, kitchen roll, masking tape, acrylic paint and decorative beads.

For the square-shaped coffee table, I used glued spruce wood, a glaze to darken it and furniture wax to seal it. For the round-shaped coffee table, I bought a cheap wooden slice from the DIY store. After I removed the bark, the sanded the to give it a softer shape, sealed it with furniture wax and mounted the table legs.

The painting was a birthday gift for someone special to me. The chest of drawers I bought for 10€ and renovated it in a modern style.
